Who We Are
O.P.W. Fredericks is a retired Registered Nurse from Pennsylvania who graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Health Care Administration. His poetry, prose, and short stories reflect human interaction and the human condition as interpreted by his philosophy of life as well as recollections from his childhood and his career. In addition to editing and publishing Touch: The Journal of Healing and poetry chapbooks through The Lives You Touch Publications, he is the administrator of a private poetry forum, and he serves as a moderator for the Academy of American Poets discussion forum. His poetry and short stories have previously appeared in The Externalist, Autumn Sky Poetry, and Philadelphia Poets Journal.
Daniel Milbo is a contemplative existentialist and poet. He has studied theology and theoretical mathematics at the University of Notre Dame as well as philosophy at the Pontifical College Josephinum and Gregorianum in Rome. His academic coursework surveyed the historical development of medieval manuscripts, as well as codicology and the evolution of inks, and has left him with a passion for the craft of bookmaking as an art form.
Daniel is the former editor of Rings, Strings, and Other Things, a creative journal and recipient of the 1989 Columbia Gold Circle Award. He has a broad range of experience in graphic design, literary editing, and web publishing. He was certified as a mediator in the state of Virginia and currently works near Philadelphia as a software analyst and developer.
