Touch: The Journal of Healing
Touch: The Journal of Healing
Introduction
Welcome to the 2016 Spring/Summer issue of Touch: The Journal of Healing. We offer our sincere apologies once again for the lateness of the release of this issue. Again, life threw us several curve balls this year, and we had to focus on them, reserving publication for later in the period. We are happy we can bring the issue to you now.
Nature permeates the literary pieces in this issue, Whether inferred or stated directly, this theme, quite unintended, was overwhelming present in the submissions we received, and we welcome the wordsmiths with open arms who were inspired by it.
Another dominant theme, also, unintended was the struggle faced by those who walk on two or four legs who have endured chemotherapy, sometimes losing the battle along the way.
We would also like to bring your attention to the insightful writings by two, exciting new writers to Touch: The Journal of Healing, K.R. Copeland and Nicholas Andrew Froumis. A quote from Nicholas’ piece was selected as the opening for this issue.
In closing, we thank each contributor to this issue by name, Ed Bennett, Eric Blanchard, K.R. Copeland, Kate Van Pelt DeLoach, Nicholas Andrew Froumis, Patricia Wallace Jone, Marianne Lyon, Susan Quaglietti, Kenneth Salzmann, David Anthony Sam, Pat St.Pierre, Janet Sunderland, Larina Warnok, and James S. Wilk, without whom this issue would not have been possible.
Thank you for joining us this issue.
